EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team took 3rd place at the Twin Cities Forensic League Tournament #3 held Dec. 2 at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn.
Following are the individual results from the tournament:
Sophomore Sarah Taylor, Merrill, took first in program oral interpretation.
Freshman James Kust, Eau Claire, took second and qualified for the American Forensics Association Tournament in persuasion.
Sophomore Karin Tomesh, Rice Lake, placed second in communication analysis and sixth in informative speaking.
Sophomore Alicia Gerber, Ringle, placed fourth in dramatic interpretation.
Sophomore Beth Amann, Eau Claire, took fourth in after-dinner speaking.
Freshman Patrick Martin, Burnsville, Minn., placed fourth in impromptu.
Junior Kindra Kressin, Champion, Neb., took fifth in prose and sixth in poetry.
