Scholarship Recipients Offered Chance to Come and Express Thanks to Donors

RELEASED: Dec. 5, 2008

EAU CLAIRE — Recipients of scholarships through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation are encouraged to take a few minutes to express written thanks and holiday greetings to the donors who provide their scholarship funds at one of three gatherings being held Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 8-10.

The UW-Eau Claire Foundation and Sigma Gamma Zeta II, the nontraditional student honor society, will host the gatherings, which will provide contact information, holiday cards, stamps and sample messages, along with cookies and hot cocoa. Students may bring photos of themselves to include in the cards if they wish.

Following are the times and locations of the gatherings in Davies Center.

  • Monday, Dec. 8: 4-7 p.m. in the Menominee Room

  • Tuesday, Dec. 9: 8-11 a.m. in the Tamarack Room

  • Wednesday, Dec. 10: Noon-3 p.m. in the Presidents Room
