UW-Eau Claire Freshmen Awarded
Sentry Insurance Leadership Scholarships

RELEASED: Aug. 5, 2008

EAU CLAIRE — Two students who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this fall have been awarded Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships for the 2008-09 academic year.

Leah DeYoung, Oshkosh, daughter of Dick and Barb DeYoung; and Marleah Keuler, Hilbert, daughter of Richard and Therese Keuler, will receive the awards.

Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, are awarded to incoming freshmen at UW-Eau Claire who are majoring in business administration, computer sciences or information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics (actuarial science) or engineering. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years.
