Musical Events
for the Week of Sept. 24th

RELEASED: Sept. 14, 2007

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Sept. 24th. All events are free and open to the public.

Sunday, Sept. 30

  • Paul Kosower, professor of music, will present a cello recital at. 2 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall. Assisted on piano by Namji Kim, assistant professor of music, the recital will include performances of Franz Schubert's Impromptu No. 3 in G Major D.899, followed by Sonata in G minor, Opus 65 for Cello and Piano by Frederic Chopin. The second half of the concert will feature Felix Mendelssohn's Sonata No. 2 in D Major for Cello and Piano Op. 58.
