SUBJECT: Students to help elderly with yard work Oct. 27

UW-Eau Claire students will volunteer their time Oct.27 to help several elderly community members with their yard work and fall cleanup.

Teams of students will participate in "Tidy Up the Town" at several locations in the Eau Claire area on Saturday.

Photographers and reporters who are interested in covering the students' volunteer efforts are invited to a home at 2625 Haanstad Road in Eau Claire. The students will be at the Haanstad Road home from 11a.m. to noon Saturday.

The event is sponsored by UW-Eau Claire's Activities and Programs office and the Community Action & Lifelong Learning Program.
