WOW Event to Feature Presentation
on Alternative Therapies by Dr. Susan Peck

EAU CLAIRE — The first Women on Wednesdays gathering of the fall semester will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Hibbard Hall Penthouse at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. A social gathering will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 5 p.m.

Dr. Susan Peck, UW-Eau Claire professor of nursing, will speak about alternative healing therapies, how they are thought to work, how to find a reputable practitioner and why someone might want to try some of these therapies.

The talk is free and open to anyone. Refreshments will be served.

Women on Wednesdays is sponsored by Women in Higher Education with support from the Office of the Provost.
