SUBJECT: Women's hockey team plays against faculty
The UW-Eau Claire women's ice hockey team will play this weekend against a team made up of faculty and staff, including Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich.
The game, which will raise money for the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library campaign, will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in Hobbs Ice Arena.
The "hockey profs" team will include: Levin-Stankevich; Fred Kolb, economics; Phillip Ostrander, music; Geoff Pignotta, geology; James Philips, chemistry; Joe Hupy and Paul Kaldjian, geography; Don Bredle and Jeff Janot, kinesiology; Tina Killey, activities and programs; and Matt Loen, Meghan Martin and Scott Kilgallon, athletics.
The event is a good example of UW-Eau Claire students, faculty, staff and administrators coming together to raise money for an Eau Claire community project.
Reporters and photographers are welcome.
