Ninth Annual Majors Fair
Set for Oct. 25 at UW-Eau Claire

RELEASED: Oct. 11, 2007

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's ninth annual Majors Fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center.

The Majors Fair offers a relaxed atmosphere where students can speak to department heads, faculty, staff and students representing all of UW-Eau Claire's majors, minors and pre-professional programs and get answers to their academic and career-related questions. All students are invited and encouraged to attend.

The fair welcomes high school juniors and seniors participating in campus visits, as well as students who are interested in transferring to UW-Eau Claire from two-year UW campuses and technical colleges in western Wisconsin.

The Majors Fair is sponsored by UW-Eau Claire's Advising and New Student Initiatives Office. Representatives from Academic Advising, Career Services, the centers for International Education and Service-Learning, and the National Student Exchange Program also will be on hand to provide information and answer students' questions.

For more information, contact Signe Matson or Katie Ritland Clouse in the Advising and New Student Initiatives Office, 715-836-3487.
