UW-Eau Claire University Band
to Perform Fall Concert Nov. 26

EAU CLAIRE — The University Band at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

The University Band, under the direction of Randal Dickerson, associate professor of music, will open with a performance of "Eternal Father, Strong to Save" by Claude Smith, followed by "Othello" by Alfred Reed. The concert will continue with Camille Saint-Saens' "Bacchanale" from "Samson and Delilah," conducted by guest student conductor Jacob Boyle, a senior from Oconomowoc/Pewaukee. Next will be "Vesuvius" by Frank Ticheli, followed by Dickerson's arrangement of "UW-Eau Claire Alma Mater." The concert will conclude with "Americans We" by Henry Fillmore.

Tickets, available at the University Service Center, 715-836-3727 or 800-949-UWEC are $4 for the general public; $3 for those 62 and older and children 17 and younger; and free for faculty, staff and students with a university ID.
