UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education Announces
Design-a-Cover Drawing Contest

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension is pleased to announce its Second Annual Youth Program Design-a-Cover Drawing Contest.
This year, winners will be drawn in two age categories: elementary school (Grades K-5) and middle school (Grades 6-8). Each winner will receive an $80 gift certificate to be used toward the 2008 summer youth class of his or her choice. The winning drawings will be featured as the front and back covers of Continuing Education's 2008 Summer Youth brochure. With parental permission, winners' names, ages and schools also will be printed.
UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education offers many learning opportunities throughout the summer for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade. Contest winners can apply their gift certificates to the following:
- Summer Institute (June 16-26 in Chippewa Falls and July 7-17 in Eau Claire for grades K-5)
- Project Explore (June 16-26 in Chippewa Falls and July 7-17 in Eau Claire for grades 6-8)
- Science Institute (July 13-18 for grades 6-8 and July 20-25 for grades 9-12)
- Math for Young Achievers (June through August for students ages 5 to 15)
