Kindergarten Programs Offered for
Preschoolers at Summer Institute

Summer Institute imageEAU CLAIRE — Designed for four or five year olds who will enter kindergarten in fall 2007, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education's Summer Institute is offering classes that introduce early reading and math concepts, reinforce social skills and give children a positive welcome to school. Following are class titles:

  • "Look Out Kindergarten Here I come!"
  • "An Ocean of Fun"
  • "Ready, Set, Learn!"
  • "Critter Quest"

All classes are offered June 18-28 in Chippewa Falls and July 9-19 in Eau Claire.

The program tuition is $65 per class and $15 for class materials. The Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire school districts cover the full tuition cost for students residing in their districts. Parents are responsible for the materials fees. Charter Bank also pays tuition for one class for children who opened a College Fund Account on or before May 1, 2006.
