Nurses Walk on UW-Eau Claire Campus
to Honor the Profession of Nursing May 9

RELEASED: May 4, 2007

EAU CLAIRE — The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host a Nurses Walk through Putnam Park on the UW-Eau Claire campus at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 9. Area nurses and all who value their many services to the community are invited to join the walk to honor the profession of nursing, which is being held during National Nurses Week, May 6-12.

Participants will gather outside the College of Nursing Building at 6 p.m.

Sponsors to date include the District 10 Wisconsin Nurses Association, UW-Eau Claire College of Nursing and Health Sciences, PESI Healthcare, Eau Claire Student Nurses Association, and the Delta Pi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, the nursing honor society.
