Proceeds from the outing will go to support the National Youth Sports Program, an award winning program for boys and girls aged 10-16 who live in the greater Chippewa Valley. The program, in its 27th year at UW-Eau Claire, takes place on campus each summer and is run by University Recreation & Sport Facilities to provide area youth with an opportunity to learn sports skills and receive information about drugs and alcohol, nutrition, careers and higher education.

The Early Birdie Outing is for golfers of any skill level. The $25 per person fee includes nine holes, lunch, prizes and a t-shirt. Games will be held at the holes for a chance to win special prizes, and one lucky winner may take home a new set of golf clubs.
