EAU CLAIRE — There is still time to register for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education's Clearwater Music Camps. The program offers both residential and day student options to youth completing grades 8-12 by the end of June.
Clearwater Music Camps will be held July 15-20 on the UW-Eau Claire campus, offering performance groups in choir, musical theatre and percussion. All classes are taught or supervised by UW-Eau Claire music and theatre arts faculty. Outside of class, Clearwater Music Camps offer a typical camp experience, including recreational and campus activities. Students also will attend performances by student and faculty concert groups.
The residential program cost is $485 per student. The day student option is $250. Some scholarships are available through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Precollege Scholarship program.
Residential students will live with a roommate in the residence halls throughout the program, supervised by adult counselors. Most counselors are UW-Eau Claire undergraduates who hope to teach at the secondary level upon graduation.
To register, for additional program information, or to request reasonable accommodations for disabilities, please call 715-836-3636/toll-free 866-893-2423, use the Wisconsin Relay System (711), or send e-mail to ce@uwec.edu.
UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education is located at 210 Water St., Eau Claire, WI, 54703.
