EAU CLAIRE — Two students who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this fall have been awarded Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships for the 2007-08 academic year.
Megan Buehl, Wisconsin Rapids, daughter of Pam and Casey Glynn, and Jared Heimerl, Suring, son of Jeff and Mary Heimerl, will receive the awards.
Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, are awarded to incoming freshmen at UW-Eau Claire who are majoring in business administration, computer sciences or management information systems (MIS), accounting, finance, mathematics (actuarial science), or engineering. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years.
