UW-Eau Claire Students Invited to
Explore Leadership at Free Seminar

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students are invited to attend "Leadership: What It Takes to Take the Lead," a seminar designed to help students in all disciplines become more intuitive and well-rounded campus leaders.

The seminar will be held from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, in Room 162 of the McPhee Physical Education Center. Community and campus experts in a variety of fields will lead sessions on topics such as leadership skills, hazing, sexual assault and harassment, alcohol use and abuse, drug abuse, and personal wellness.

Andy Jepsen, sports club and special events coordinator at University Recreation and Sports Facilities and one of the organizers of the event, said he hopes that as many as 100 students will take advantage of this opportunity. The seminar is sponsored by University Recreation and Sports Facilities, Men's Rugby Sports Club, Student Health Services and the Student Wellness Advocacy Team, Women's and Gender Equity Center, Center for Awareness of Sexual Assault, Center for Alcohol Studies and Education, and Student Development and Diversity.
