SUBJECT: UW System Materials Sciences Gathering

Scientists from throughout the UW System will gather from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in Room 007 of Phillips Science Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The focus of the gathering will be on materials sciences. The meeting will give participants opportunities to discuss their research, explore possible collaborations, and learn how to pursue patents and funding for business opportunities.

There will be presentations on a variety of materials science topics, including several on nanotechnology.
