Workshop to Be Offered on
International Payment Methods

RELEASED: Feb. 16, 2007

EAU CLAIRE "Being Successful Internationally: Payment Methods of International Trade," a workshop designed to help businesses engaged in international activities or involved with international trade learn about services available to help with international expansion will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 14, at the Plaza Hotel in Eau Claire.

Nancy Burton, vice president, International Banking at Associated Bank in Green Bay, is the instructor. She will present a variety of methods to help insure you get paid for your international sales and show you how to protect company assets. Other topics include terms of sale, including cash in advance, standby letters of credit, commercial letters of credit, documentary collections, ways you can protect your international accounts receivables, and tips for making sure you and your customer build a successful business relationship experience.

The fee for the workshop is $59. To register or obtain additional program information contact Continuing Education.
