EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students enrolled in the curriculum and instruction course "Teaching Foreign Languages in Grades 1-9" will offer free exploratory classes in French, German and Spanish for area children in grades 1-5.
Classes will meet from 4:10 to 4:50 p.m. on Thursdays, beginning March 15 and ending May 10, in the Hibbard Humanities Hall. There will be no class on March 22 due to spring break recess.
The classes will help UW-Eau Claire students prepare for teaching foreign languages at the elementary level as they gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for effective teaching.
