Conference on Cross-Cultural Perspectives
of Visual Communication to Be Held at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host the first annual Cross-Cultural Perspectives of Visual Communication Conference April 20-21 at W. R. Davies Center on the UW-Eau Claire campus. Featuring respected experts Roger Baer, Amy Basic and Joe Duffy, the conference is designed for university communication, art and design instructors and students, visual communication professionals, and secondary art and communication teachers.

Rapid developments of global, cultural and economic interactions have made mutual understanding and respect in communication among diverse cultures crucial. Conference topics include both theory and the practice of bridging diversity, communicating differences, and global advancement through visual communication.

The cost of the conference is $55 for professionals; $15 for full-time students. Early registration is recommended.
