Friday Night Concert
To Benefit MOSAIC V-Day Campaign

RELEASED: Feb. 8, 2007

EAU CLAIRE — J Ray Nightcrawler Presents will feature four rock bands, a pianist and a rap artist at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, in Schofield Auditorium at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The featured bands include Toast Master Generals, The Stomps, Left on Farwell and S3ntry. Kyle Robl will perform on piano and Sam E. Fresh will rap. The event will benefit the UW-Eau Claire Housing and Residence Life diversity task force MOSAIC (Making Our School an Intercultural Community) as part of the annual V-Day campaign. V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls.

Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased ahead of time at the University Service Center or at the door.

Organizer Jeremy Riedel, a resident assistant in Towers Hall, said the performers are playing pro bono. All profits will go directly to the V-Day campaign to benefit the Bolton Refuge House in Eau Claire.
