Announces New Business Services

RELEASED: Dec. 10, 2007

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education has announced two position changes in Business Outreach Services.

  • Jim Mishefske
    Ann Rupnow
    Jim Mishefske was named the Small Business Development Center director. He works with partners, educational institutions, entrepreneurial networks and stakeholder groups to provide expertise and resources to prospective entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the region. The SBDC offers numerous programs and services, including small business counseling, entrepreneurial training, and other topic-related workshops and seminars.
  • Ann Rupnow was promoted to program manager of Business Outreach Services. She serves as Continuing Education's primary liaison to regional businesses. She works with campus and external contacts to develop, deliver and evaluate education and training programs, including business consulting, in-house training, topic-specific workshops and seminars, conferences/special meetings and certificate programs. Rupnow also will participate in regional initiatives that influence economic development.
