EAU CLAIRE — Twelve candidates for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire bachelor of fine arts degrees will display their works in a senior BFA art show. The exhibit will open at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, and will run through Sunday, Dec. 16, in the Foster Gallery of the Haas Fine Arts Center. An opening reception will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8.

The exhibit will include illustrations, paintings, ceramics and graphic designs.

Maggie Rousseau, Woodbury, Minn., will present her graphic design projects from the past two years. "I am displaying my strongest pieces from my portfolio, including a self promotion piece and some ads I have been working on for the student newspaper The Spectator," said Rousseau.

Jenna Eichberger, Black River Falls, will be presenting her paintings. "My work explores the everyday spaces of modern cityscapes and landscapes," said Eichberger, adding that her work "asks viewers to pay new attention to their everyday nothings."

Other work displayed will include illustrations by Beth Beebout, Cedarburg; paintings by Clayton Brice, Eau Claire; ceramics by Lauren Faust, Verona; and graphic designs by Nathaniel Hamm, Cadott, Maria Nocenti, Oshkosh, Dana Seeley, Eau Claire, Tim Skrivseth, Lakeville, Minn., and Crystal Wisnewski, Stanley. Anne Jensen, Merrillan, will showcase her sculptures, and Jasmine Lynch, Platteville, will display her photography.

Foster Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, and 1 to 4:30 p.m. weekends. For more information about gallery exhibits, contact Foster Gallery director Tom Wagener at 715-836-2328.
