State Health Economist for Minnesota
to Speak at UW-Eau Claire April 12

EAU CLAIRE — Scott Leitz, state health economist for Minnesota and director of the health economics program at the Minnesota Department of Health, will present a guest lecture at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in Room 100 of Hibbard Hall. Leitz will speak on "Economics and Health Care: Three Applications from State Health Policy."

Leitz earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from UW-Eau Claire in 1988 and a master's degree in public affairs from the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota in 1993.

The presentation, sponsored by the Student Economics Association and the department of economics, is free and open to the public.
