'Ethics and Boundaries' Programs
Offered for Social Workers

RELEASED: Sept. 14, 2006

EAU CLAIRE — Every social worker, whether independent, clinical, or in advanced practice, must complete at least 30 education hours by the end of the current two-year credentialing period, which ends June 30, 2007. Of the 30 required hours, at least four hours must be in the subject area of social work ethics and boundaries.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education is offering a four-hour "Ethics and Boundaries" seminar on six different occasions from October 2006 through June 2007.

  • Oct. 26 Plaza Inn and Suites in Eau Claire, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 2 Days Inn & Conference Center in La Crosse, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
  • May 2 Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
  • May 3 Stoney Creek Inn in Rothschild (Wausau), 8 a.m.-noon.
  • June 25 Ramada Inn in Hayward, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
  • June 26 Plaza Inn and Suites in Eau Claire, 8 a.m.-noon.
