EAU CLAIRE The Indianhead Honors Band and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Wind Symphony, conducted by Richard Mark Heidel, associate professor of music, will join in a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Guest artist Brian Grivna, on clarinet, will be a featured soloist.
The Wind Symphony will open the concert with John Zdechlik's "Celebrations" and "Fugue a la Gigue" by Bach. The ensemble also will perform the work of Carl Maria von Weber and Frank Ticheli. The Indianhead Honors Band will follow with performances of Andrew Boysen Jr.'s "I Am" and "Imani" by Sean O'Loughlin. The band will close with "Circus Bee" by Henry Fillmore.
