EAU CLAIRE — The Mid-American Forensics League held its third tournament on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus on Saturday, Oct. 14. The UW-Eau Claire forensics team placed second in team sweepstakes.
Following are the individual results from MAFL #3:
Senior Amy Oldakowski, Sobieski, placed first in communication analysis and extemporaneous speaking and third in after-dinner speaking.
Sophomore Julie Germain, New Richmond, took first in persuasive speaking and informative speaking and third in dramatic interpretation.
Sophomore Eric Plantenberg, Monroe, placed first in narrative prose interpretation and third in dramatic interpretation.
The forensics team will travel to Mankato State University on Saturday, Oct. 21, and Gustavus Adolphus College on Sunday, Oct. 22.
