UW-Eau Claire Student Receives
Graphic Design Award for University Brochure

EAU CLAIRE — A University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student received two awards in the graphics competition at the Association of College Unions International regional conference Oct. 27-29 at Marquette University.

The awards recognize publications designed for The Forum and Artists Series by Kristine Norberg, a student graphic designer from Milaca, Minn. Norberg received the awards for a 24-page season booklet she designed for the lecture and performing arts series, and for a poster for the Artists Series performance by L'Ensemble Pennetier.

A UW-Eau Claire senior majoring in graphic design, Norberg designed the publications while working in the University Centers information design services area. The University Centers is a Student Services unit of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a longtime member of the Association of College Unions International. ACUI Region 8 is comprised of colleges and universities throughout Wisconsin, the upper peninsula of Michigan, and the Chicago metropolitan area.
