Summer Day Camp Offered By UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education

farming photoEAU CLAIRE — In partnership with the Chippewa Valley Museum, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education introduces the most recent addition to its summer youth programming — Kamp Kaleidoscope: Farm Life Adventures. This two-week day camp for students entering grades three through six will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. July 10-20, at the Chippewa Valley Museum in Carson Park. Through hands-on activities, demonstrations, crafts and field trips, day campers will explore the past, present and future of Wisconsin farming. Students will investigate farm animal care, crops and gardening, the farmhouse kitchen, beekeeping and honey, the rural community, and much more!

The camp fee is $240. Chippewa Falls residents may receive support from their school district and pay a reduced fee of $110. Eau Claire residents may receive support from their school district and pay a reduced free of $175.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at the UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education Office at 210 Water Street in Eau Claire. Registrations can also be faxed to (715) 836-5263.
