at UW-Eau Claire May 11-14

RELEASED: May 3, 2006

King of Hearts posterEAU CLAIRE — Alan Bates and Genevieve Bujold star in "King of Hearts" (France 1966), a cult classic that will conclude this year's film series at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire May 11-14. Philippe de Broca's anti-war parable will screen at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday in Davies Theatre.

In French subtitled in English, the 100-minute film is not rated.

Admission is $2 for International Film Society members and UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff and $1 for UW-Eau Claire students. Tickets are available at the Service Center, (715) 836-3727, in Davies Center's east lobby and will be sold at the door.

The film is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
