Residents in UW-Eau Claire's Putnam Hall will host activities May 5 to raise money for the International Foundation of Research and Education of Depression.

Putnam Lovestock will run from 2-8 p.m. Friday in the backyard of Putnam Hall on lower campus.

The annual charity event, which is free and open to the public, will feature bands and food. Local bands scheduled to perform include Chester Bay, S3NTRY, IFL, Industry, Kyle Robl, Audacious and To Slay Zombie Newton.

There will be games and food, which was donated by Panera Bread and Olive Garden. While the event is free, people must pay for the food and games. There also will be opportunities for participants to make donations to the iFred organization.
