EAU CLAIRE — A benefit concert for the citizens of Northern Uganda will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 8, in Schofield Auditorium on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus.
For nineteen years, a civil war in Northern Uganda has displaced 1.5 million people and victimized many children and innocent citizens. Several UW-Eau Claire students have joined together to raise money and awareness for the tragedies that are occurring in the area.
Local artists performing at the concert include The Daredevil Christopher Wright, Prihoda, and Seth & Tessa. Tickets are $5, and all money goes towards the Northern Uganda Humanitarian Outreach.
