EAU CLAIRE — The Bridge Campus Community Coalition on Alcohol Issues in Eau Claire will hold its final meeting for the 2005-06 academic year from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, in the Eagle Room of Davies Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The coalition will discuss lessons learned from the recent visit of speaker Tom Workman and discuss new ideas; vote on a mission statement; hear updates from the involved agencies; organize workgroups; and make plans to welcome UW-Eau Claire's new chancellor.
Groups currently involved in the Campus Community Coalition on Alcohol Issues in Eau Claire include UW-Eau Claire's Center for Alcohol Studies and Education; Consortium to Prevent Alcohol Abuse in Eau Claire County; Coalition for Youth; Eau Claire School District; Student Senate; the University Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers; neighborhood associations; Water Street business owners; UW-Eau Claire faculty, administrators and students; and various other social service and mental health agencies in the Eau Claire area. Additional guests are welcome.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunches. Beverages will be provided.
