UW-Eau Claire Staff Member to Discuss the Birkebeiner for Women on Wednesdays

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Women on Wednesday's series will present "Skiing the American Birkebeiner-20 Years and Counting," Wednesday, March 8, at the Hibbard Hall Penthouse.

From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., guest speaker Nina Albanese-Kotar will share her experiences participating in the American Birkebeiner for the last two decades. Albanese-Kotar is a psychologist for UW-Eau Claire counseling services.

Sponsors of the event include Interim Provost and Vice Chancellor Steven Tallant and Associate Vice Chancellor Kimberly Barrett and the Office of Student Development and Diversity, Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership, the Women's Studies Program, UW-Eau Claire Commission on the Status of Women, Women in Higher Education, the American Association of University Women-Eau Claire Chapter and the Women's and Gender Equity Center.
