RELEASED: June 28, 2006
EAU CLAIRE — Planetarium shows for adults and children are being presented at the L.E. Phillips Planetarium in the Phillips Science Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire through July and August.
Tuesday evening shows begin at 7 p.m. and are generally designed for adults. The suggested minimum age is 13 years old. One exception, on July 18, features Professor Photon teaching about light and is appropriate for all ages above 10 years old.
Saturday shows, aimed at children 4-11, begin at 11 a.m.
In addition to the multi-media presentation, all shows discuss what constellations and planets can be seen in the summer night sky.
Summer admission is $2 for the Tuesday shows and $1 for Saturday children's shows.
