UW-Eau Claire to Offer Seminar
on Coaching Employee Performance

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Small Business Development Center and the Office of Continuing Education will hold "Coaching Employee Performance," from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Plaza Hotel & Suites in Eau Claire.

This seminar will help small business owners and human resource professionals learn how to effectively coach employees for improved performance. Participants will learn a powerful coaching model to apply in real life work situations, have the opportunity to experience what a coaching relationship feels like, learn how to share information in order to change or reinforce behavior, learn how to remove interpersonal barriers that interfere with the coaching process, develop a coaching action plan for their work environment, and much more.

Roger Jones, of Human Resource Management Services in Rochester, Minn., is the instructor. He has over 20 years of management experience with Fortune 500 companies, including a long-term career with IBM. He is certified as a facilitative leadership instructor, career transition associate, and is a SHRM certified professional in human resources.

The fee to attend "Coaching Employee Performance" is $149 per person, or $129 per person for additional registrations from the same firm or organization. The fee includes instruction, course materials, lunch, and continuing education units (CEUs).
