EAU CLAIRE — "India's Cultural Geography," a Geography Seminar Series presentation and discussion, will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, May 5, in Room 281 of Phillips Science Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Ingolf Vogeler, professor in geography and anthropology, will present his photos and discuss his cultural experiences during his trip to India.
Vogeler said that the goal of the seminar is to get students interested in seeing and understanding the wonderful people and places of the world.
"I want to expose students to a very different part of the world with enormous economic consequences to the United States in the future," Vogeler said.
This presentation and discussion is supported by the UW-Eau Claire department of geography and anthropology. Light refreshments will be provided and the public is invited to attend. Admission is free. For more information, contact Paul Kaldjian at (715) 836-2321 or kaldjian@uwec.edu.
