EAU CLAIRE — There is still time to register for "Creating Cultures of Health: Controlling Health Costs Through Alternative Strategies." The program will be held Wednesday, May 3, at the Holiday Inn-Campus Area in Eau Claire and is intended for health care purchasers/employers, public health professionals, personnel/human resource professionals, finance professionals, health care providers, economic/community development professionals, educators, and others affected by the high cost of health care. This program will do the following:
Department of Workforce Development secretary Roberta Gassman will be a special guest speaker. Other program speakers are experts in public and private research, business development, medicine and insurance who will provide the whole healthcare picture, along with successful models from regional business and organizations.
Working models of health cost management will be shared by OEM Fabricators, Inc., Mega Foods, Realityworks, and We Energies.
The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. Program fee is $49 for registrations received prior to April 21 and $69 after that date. The fee includes lunch, refreshment breaks, handouts and workshop materials.
