Students Can Practice Interview Skills at 'Breaking
the Ice' Mock Interview Day

RELEASED: April 4, 2004

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students will have a chance to practice their interview skills at a "Breaking the Ice" Mock Interview Day scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 6, in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center. The event is co-sponsored by the Public Relations Student Society of America, the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce and UW-Eau Claire Career Services.

Twenty employers from the Eau Claire area will be available to students for mock interviews, resume consultations and industry-specific advice. The employers, representing a variety of different business and service industries, include 3M, the Eau Claire School District, Luther Hospital, RCU, Target, Wipfli LLP, and others.

A number of area professionals also will discuss the quality of life in the Chippewa Valley.

Students can pre-register for 30-minute slots with specific employers by going to the Career Services Web site and clicking on the link next to "Upcoming Events."
