Media Memo: Legislative Panel at Synergy Conference

RELEASED: Sept. 13, 2005

Several state legislators will participate in a discussion during this week's Synergy Conference about how the state of Wisconsin can partner with western Wisconsin to help advance issues relating to economic development. Discussion topics will include affordable health care, workforce development, quality of life and communication services.

The panel discussion is slated for 11-11:45 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Plaza Hotel & Suites Conference Center in Eau Claire.

State legislators who will participate in the discussion include Sen. David Zien, Sen. Robert Jauch and Rep. Rob Kreibich. Rep. Andy Lamb may participate.

The third annual Synergy Conference, hosted by UW-Eau Claire, will be held Sept. 14-15. It provides opportunities for the business community, government and education leaders to come together to focus on issues and find practical solutions to the challenges that accompany economic growth in the region.
