UW-Eau Claire Public Relations Students Offering Discounted Tickets to Timberwolves Basketball Game

RELEASED: Nov. 23, 2005

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Public Relations Student Society of America will offer discounted tickets to the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Chicago Bulls basketball game, which will be held Jan. 11, 2006, at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The tickets, available until Dec. 1, are a fundraiser for the campus organization.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward career-related events for the organization. For example, PRSSA went to 3M earlier in the semester for a presentation given by several employees.

If PRSSA sells more than 100 tickets, the Timberwolves will host a short career workshop before the game. Anyone purchasing tickets would be invited to the event.

Ticket prices are $20 or $36, depending upon seat preference. The prices are based upon a $4 discount that PRSSA is offering. For more information about the event or to order tickets, contact PRSSA treasurer Diana Kruppstadt at kruppsdg@uwec.edu.
