EAU CLAIRE — The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony will present its 25th season concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. Ivar Lunde Jr., emeritus professor of music, is the music director and conductor.
The event is free and sponsored by UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension and the Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony Association.
The Chippewa Valley Youth Symphony offers a creative outlet and symphony experience for area students in grades 7-12. This year there are 60 members plus six UW-Eau Claire student section leaders.
