EAU CLAIRE — Traveling to Peoria, Ill., the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team placed 12th in the largest regular season individual events tournament with 40 schools participating in both varsity and novice events.
The L.E. Norton Invitational Tournament was held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5-6, at Bradley University.
Following are the individual results from the L.C. Norton Invitational Tournament:
Junior Christine Zani, Hurley, placed fifth in persuasive speaking.
Freshman Crystal Navarrete, Fullerton, Calif., took fifth in novice informative speaking.
Senior Abby Czeskleba, Middleton, placed sixth in after-dinner speaking.
Sophomore Hilary Rasmussen, Eau Claire, made it to the semi-finals in prose speaking.
Senior Chris Conklin, Green Bay, made it to the semi-finals in impromptu speaking.
Junior Amy Oldakowski, Sobieski, made it to the semi-finals in impromptu speaking.
