20th Annual Kaleidoscope of Nursing Research

RELEASED: March 28, 2005

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Sigma Theta Tau and Continuing Education/UW-Extension will present "Research into Practice, 20th Annual Kaleidoscope of Nursing Research."

The event will run from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 22 in Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire. Poster presentations are slated for 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Badger and Wisconsin rooms of Davies Center. Delta Phi Chapter Sigma Theta Tau will host a reception at 4 p.m.

Keynote speaker Lisa Thomka will present "Research on Mentoring: You Might Be Surprised!" Nurses from all practice areas will find new and evidence-based ideas. Topics include spirituality, caring for the elderly and orientation to home care.

The program fee is $60 for professionals and $30 for UW-Eau Claire graduate nursing students. Participants may earn 4.7 contact hours.
