RELEASED: June 17, 2005

Dennis WarnerEAU CLAIRE — A free outdoor family show by Dennis Warner will highlight the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Summer Session Programs for the week of June 27.

His concert will begin at 7 p.m. Monday on the Central Campus Mall. Refreshments will be sold. Audience members are invited to bring blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating.

Honored three times as a finalist in the Emerging Songwriters Showcase at the Kerrville Folk Festival, Warner has often appeared at The Bluebird Cafe, the Nashville club known for discovering new and exciting songwriters.

  • Jazz combos will play during lunch in the open air, from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday on the Central Campus Mall. A variety of grilled lunch items will be sold.
