Gangs Workshop Offered by UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will present "Ganging up on Gangs," a workshop for educators, school counselors, social workers, ESL teachers, law enforcement personnel and others interested in youth gang issues.
The workshop is slated for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 15 at the Park Inn & Suites in Eau Claire.
Workshop presenters are Sgt. Kevin Navara, Ramsey County deputy sheriff and part of the Minnesota Gang Strike Force; Laurel Edinburgh, a pediatric nurse practitioner; and Der Her, program assistant at Sexual Offense Services of Ramsey County.
The registration fee is $159 per person; early registration is encouraged.
