UW-Eau Claire to Offer Watercolor Workshop
in June

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will offer "Painting In & Out," a watercolor workshop for advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced painters. Classes will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 20-23 and 27-30, in Room 201 of the Haas Fine Arts Center on the UW-Eau Claire campus.

Instructor Janet Carson has painted in the Greek Islands, Guatemala, and France. She taught in the UW-Eau Claire department of art & design for 26 years. Workshop participants will explore various techniques for painting water and work with figure studies, painting outside as weather permits.

The workshop fee is $215 per person, which covers instruction and some materials. Additional required materials are the participant's responsibility. A one-graduate credit option is available. Class size is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
