UW-Eau Claire to Offer 'Feel Better Fitness' Class

EAU CLAIRE — University Recreation at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is offering "Feel Better Fitness" during the spring semester.

Classes will be held 5-6 p.m. Thursdays, March 1, 17 and 31 and April 7, 14 and 21, in Schneider Social Science Hall, Room 223. The cost for this class is $27 for UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff and $45 for community members. Jennifer Peterson, a registered nurse and certified aesthetician, will be the instructor.

Feel Better Fitness incorporates short routines that are normally done primarily in a seated position. This gentle health program is recommended for men and women of all ages and abilities. It blends Yoga, T'ai Chi and today's state-of-the-art exercise methods, leading participants through stretches and exercises to improve range of motion, flexibility, strength and breathing.

Classes are open to faculty, staff, students and community members. Fees must be paid at the time of registration.
