SUBJECT: UW-Eau Claire Student Senate Reaction to State Budget Proposal

UW-Eau Claire's Student Senate is organizing a news conference to share the senators' thoughts about the state budget proposal.

The news conference is slated for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, in the Presidents Room of Davies Center.

Erika Dinkel-Smith, a UW-Eau Claire Student Senator and United Council delegate, and Chad Wade, Student Senate president and United Council Delegate, will discuss issues relating to the budget. They also will talk about the impact the state budget may have on the quality of education at UW-Eau Claire.
