EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will begin its fall 2005 public planetarium shows this month at the L.E. Phillips Planetarium in Phillips Science Hall.
Thirty-minute shows designed especially for younger children, ages 4 and up, will be presented at 11 a.m. most Saturdays throughout the fall. The schedule of programs follows:
All other programs, designed for adults and older children as noted, are held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays throughout the semester and last about one hour. Each will end with a presentation by a live host who will talk about the current night sky and answer questions. That schedule follows:
An adult should accompany young children to any planetarium program.
Tickets cost $1 and must be purchased at the UW-Eau Claire Service Center, (715) 836-3727. No tickets will be sold at the planetarium door.
